展览前言

1985年从沈阳九十二中毕业后入朝鲜至1990年归来刚好二十个年头，充满幻想的年少轻狂亦然步入不惑之列，对留学与支边的疑惑已渐淡去，搁浅的记忆、久未翻启的人和事…… 静观曾食的烟火，花样韶光依稀可见。在朝期间画的画经过多次不定飘泊，保留下来的终于整理后展示出来，愿那一抹留香化为沃壤滋养我的生命，坚定未来里程。心境更加沉稳淡定化为近期的部分相关作品，近二十余载痴顽绘画，有缘结识且得到众多同道挚友们的支持关心，谨此感谢。

    艺术家唐群是中国唯一的在北朝鲜长期亲身生活体味过并涉猎有关北朝鲜题材的非朝鲜族裔画家，1985年从沈阳九十二中毕业后走入朝鲜至1990年此展览为艺术家跨越二十年的部分作品展，作品多为表现另类的生活经验，不同的心路历程、不同的视角。艺术家始终关注研究相关事件，苦苦探索执着绘画表达，相信通过画家的作品更能让你对我们所处的世界与艺术有更深刻的感知。

   Tang Qun is one of the few Chinese artists who has spent a substantial amount of his life in North Korea, and is the only non-ethnically Korean artist who has deep understanding of North Korea. After graduating from the prestigious Numer 92 Middle School of Shenyang in 1985, he left for North Korea to study art at university and graduated in 1990 having experienced a completely different way of life.

   This left him with a outlook unlike that of any other artist. Having the capacity to consider some of the most difficult issues in life left him with an unshakable determination and focus for his art. His art allows for the consideration of interplay between life and art.
