觉知的力量      
----艺术家张志琪 

       我的作品都是在静静的体悟中完成的。每天在画室里观照自己纷乱的内心、静静地守候，待到纷乱的内心慢慢地归于沉寂进入到心灵的自由中去，举手投足都会发乎于内心的状态时才开始拿起画笔，这时头脑已不再起作用，直觉成为了我的依赖，一切随心…….我从不愿用眼睛去观察用头脑去判断，心舒了画也就顺了。心不静就去观照那颗不平的心，找出纷乱的根源所在。可以说我画画的过程也是我修心的过程。我不愿意表现情绪，因为情绪是靠不住的、是风云变幻的。我只想绕到情绪的背后看看支撑它的是什么？那个不变的是什么？ 
    
       现在的社会骚动、聒噪而变化莫测，人们的内心充满着冲突、矛盾、痛苦甚至恐惧。在想抓住什么但什么也抓不住的时代里，信仰的追求成为了我生命中唯一的动力。在每天面对自我情绪的同时寻找超越自我的精神力量，在不断地面对和超越恐惧的过程中，我会逐渐地感觉到生命中有一股能量，她是不受死亡束缚的，那就是觉知的力量；对生命的觉知，对我们身体和情绪的觉知，她是清心净虑的、超然的、宁静和慈悲的。 
    
       在清醒的觉知中，你会发现在生命自身的韵律中洋溢着一种不受外物牵扰的、清明的、自由而宁静的律动。我喜欢这种存在状态，我的艺术也是在着重表现这种存在状态的。在作品中我不断追求的就是那个亘古不变的感觉，那种不为外物所牵而自由自在的感觉，追求那种对生命的觉知意识；我觉得任何有价值的艺术都是对人心灵的观照与彰显，旨在挖掘生命的深度和广度。不光艺术如此，其实任何人类活动都如是。在艺术表达上，我认为根本就没有传统与当代之分，那只是一种语言方式，无论什么样的艺术形式最终还要看它传达了何种价值信息和感觉。我崇尚的艺术是即具备古典的智慧又具有现代的表达形式。这样的艺术家和作品总会使我感动和尊重。

       I completed all my works in quiet meditation. Inside my studio, I gazed into my chaotic inner world every moment I had. I waited in the quietness till my chaos slowly settled into freedom of heart. I did not pick up my brush until every movement I made came directly from my heart. My brain did not play a role in my creation. I depended solely on my instincts. Everything went with my heart. I did not want to observe with my eyes nor judge with my brain. As long as my heart was free, my painting was natural. If my heart refused to quiet down, I would gaze into the restless heart and find out the source of the confusion. My painting process was also my process to purify my heart. I did not want to express emotions because emotions were not reliable, forever changing as they were. I wanted to move around emotions and find out what lay beneath; what remained constant
The society now is filled with hustle and bustle; noisy, busy, forever changing. People’s heart is filled with conflicts, confusion, pain and even fear. In an age when everyone is trying to grasp something but can hold on to nothing, my only source of power comes from my search for belief. I confront my emotions everyday, looking for the power to transcend my own struggle. In the process of confronting and transcending fear, I sense a sort of energy unshackled by death. It is the energy of awareness, the awareness of life, the awareness of our body and emotion. In the pure, transcendental, quiet and kind awareness, you will find the free and clear pulsating movement of life. I like that kind of existence and my art expresses that kind of existence. What I seek is exactly the feeling of unchanging freedom, the freedom unattached to anything outside. I think that any art of value is an observation of heart and the expression of the awareness of life. Its purpose is to explore the depth and width of life. Not just art, any kind of human activity. In terms of artistic expression, I don’t think there is a division between traditional and modern. Any kind of expression is a kind of language. What matters is the kind of value and feel that language expresses. The art that I admire has both traditional wisdom and modern forms of expression. I always touched by that kind of artists and art works. 

张志琪简历

       北京人，生于1963年，1989年毕业于首都师范大学美术系油画专业。现为职业画家。
