展览介绍：

       偏锋新艺术空间将于2012年11月24日隆重开启以艺术家“曹晖”为名的同名个展。

       从本次展览的新作品 “如果我是” 、“Ho, No”、“不要忘记我”中，我们看到了曹晖在雕塑语言方面的品质：从最形式化的硬标准中汲取灵感，并将其成为雕塑语言中感性的一部分。正是这种品质，让曹晖对写实语言的运用到达极致，并赋予作品一种几乎无法让人理解的怪异的超现实感。曹晖的兴趣在于通过运用荒诞方式形成强迫式观看; 被切割的形体可能是一个看不到细节的整体，或者又是一个只见细节不见整体的物体。 通过制作过程中不可缺少的徒劳，来剥离情感效力在作品解读中的特权。

       展览将持续至12月28日。

Industry: On November 24, 2012, PIFO New Art Gallery will present “Cao Hui”, a solo exhibition by the artist of the same name.

The pieces in this exhibition, “If I Were”, “Oh, No”, and “Do Not Forget Me”, show us the character of Cao Hui’s artistic language: he draws inspiration from classical forms, the forms themselves becoming a part of the feeling in his sculptures. It is this quality that makes Cao Hui’s use of realism so effective, and gives the pieces a strange super-realism that is almost impenetrable. Cao Hui uses an unbearably absurd process to create a compelling observation; his sliced-up forms are solid entities without any visible details, or perhaps they are only details, without synthesis. Through the laboriousness of the creation process, he breaks through any pre-conceived notions in the viewing of the pieces.

The exhibition will continue until December 28.

如果我是

       如果我是卖西瓜的王婆，我非常乐意切开我的瓜，让顾客从内到外的看清楚瓜的品质；

       如果我是修理工，我当然要拆开待修的机器，把所有零部件卸下来清洗、检测、再进行组装；

       如果我是医生，我巴不得切开病床上的每一具躯体，观察病变的内脏、折断的骨骼和流血的肌肉，了解各种肌体健康或者发病的原因；

       如果我是观众，我一直愿意相信美术馆中陈列的名作，内部一定有血有肉有筋有骨，所以外部才显现得栩栩如生；

       如果我是米开朗基罗，我求求你别拆解我的雕塑，因为那里面除了凌乱的材料，什么都没有！
