古巴先锋艺术展，北京2010

2009年10月程昕东携中国当代艺术登陆哈瓦那古巴国家美术馆，一展中国当代艺术之全貌。2010年9月，程昕东国际当代艺术空间即将隆重推出“古巴当代艺术三十年”展览。这是除古巴本土以外，首次在世界范围内举办的一次完整的古巴当代艺术展览。

通过全方位介绍三十位极具代表性的古巴当代艺术家的作品，包括绘画、雕塑、装置、影像、摄影等多种艺术形式，全方位勾勒出一条从60年代至今的古巴当代艺术发展脉络，显现当今世界另一股蓬勃、生动的当代艺术新势力！

届时，古巴著名艺术家、批评家及国家美术馆、文化部等官方与民间的代表团成员，将前来出席开幕典礼。卡斯特罗之子阿里克斯•卡斯特罗先生、切•格瓦那之子卡密罗•格瓦那先生等贵宾，也将亲临这场在中国举行的古巴当代艺术盛宴！

Cuba Avant-garde Bejing, 2010

In October of 2009, Xin Dong Cheng spearheaded a comprehensive exhibition of Chinese contemporary art at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Havana. In September, 2010, the Xin Dong Space for Contemporary Art will hold a grand showing of “Thirty Years of Cuban Contemporary Art”. This world-premiere event marks the first time that a complete showing of Cuban contemporary art has been exhibited outside of Cuba. 

The comprehensive introduction of works by 30 representative Cuban contemporary artists – painting, sculpture, installation, video and photography – provides a complete outline of Cuban contemporary art from the 1960s up to the present day. The show unveils to the present-day world a new contemporary art force that is at once vivid and brimming with vitality!

Renowned Cuban artists and critics as well as official and non-governmental delegates from the art museum and Ministry of Culture, among other entitites, will come especially for the occasion and attend the opening ceremonies. Distinguished guests of honor – including the son of Fidel Castro, Mr Alex Castro, and Mr Camilo Guevara, the son of Che Guevara – will also be landing in China to enjoy a feast of Cuban contemporary art!
