展览介绍;

本次展览邀请的艺术家,他们以各自的视角和方式进入中国当代生活的不同现场,记录并尝试记录、影响或已经改变了现场中的某些问题。这其中有的作品(项目)已经具有了现实的意义,既发生于现实世界又超越了现实世界,这些意义宛如透过窄门见到微光,充满了生命的力量。

The artists invited enter into different scenes of contemporary Chinese life in their own perspectives and ways and try to record and influence some problems that may have already changed scenes。 Among them, some works have practical significance in the real world as well as beyond the real world。 These meanings are full of power of life, as if they were glimmering through a narrow door

“无声合唱团”建立的初衷是:“用艺术的方式来寻找自由和建立平等”。发起人李博、张咏如是说:“人类一直渴望真正的平等,当下的我们也许更加残缺和麻木,而他们则是用心感受世界的精灵。”无声合唱团的成员之间形成了一种默契的交往,并分享了同一类境遇,它跨越了艺术家原有的创作环境和边界:即艺术家不再作为局外人,无声合唱团成为一个共同体。

he original intention to set up Silent Choir is to seek freedom and establish equality in an artistic way。 Li Bo and Zhang Yong, the initiators, once said that human beings have been longing for true equality, but we may be more incomplete and numb while they are the elves who feel the world with their hearts。 Members of Silent Choir form a tacit relationship and share the same kind of situation。 Artists are no longer outsiders, and Silent Choir becomes a community。

易雨潇的《我想对你说》则探索了动画参与心理治疗的可能性。作品中收录的故事都是由儿童自己想象和编撰的。艺术家采用记录片的方式,由作者本人阐述,讲解,而导演则作为旁观者将这一切客观呈现。仝妍的作品《对话》,其创作灵感来源于艺术康复中心一位孤独症儿童创作的绘画作品。艺术家尝试以艺术的方式来探索孤独症儿童的情感表达与行为特征,让公众来关注和理解这个群体。

Please listen to me, created by Yi Yuxiao, probes into the possible involvement of animation in psythotherapy。 The stories collected in Please listen to me are compiled by children themselves。 The artist uses the documentary to objectively present whatever the story-teller tells。 The inspiration of Tong Yan‘s work Dialogue comes from a child with autism who draws a picture called Dialogue。 The artist attempts to explore emotion expression and behavior characteristics of children of autism in an artistic way for public attention and understanding。

吴超和夏维伦的艺术项目是一个不断生长的共同体。2014年,他们发起了植物人艺术唤醒项目,串联医学、科学、人工智能、宗教、心理学、艺术、艺术治疗、音乐治疗和中医,让学科重新创造性的协作,共同探讨人类最精微的意识问题。2018年他们又发起了生命力研究共同体,以开放的实验态度进入各领域,以自己的行动,为“文明的整体性”提供了一个实验样本。

Wu Chao and Xia Weilun’s project is a constant growing community。 In 2014, Wu and Xia initiated a vegetative arousal project, bringing in medicine, science, AI, religion, psychology, art, art therapy, music therapy and traditional Chinese medicine to drive the disciplines re-creatively collaborate and explore the most subtle human consciousness problems。 In 2018, artists launched vitality research community, entering all fields in an open experimental attitude and offering a sample of integrity of civilization in their movements。

金远冶试图通过《筑衣》这个项目去重新定义劳动群体的工作状态与社会形象。他实际上是以社会学调查者和设计师的双重身份在为建筑工人设计安全防护服装,以充满温度的设计关注了建筑工人这个群体,同时也是帮助我们去正视中国城市化进程中的具体问题。

In Designing Clothes, Kris Jin tries to redefine the working status and social image of this large group of workers。 In this project, Kris actually designs protective clothing for construction workers as a sociology researcher and designer。He focuses on the group of construction workers with his thoughtful design。 Meanwhile, what he does also helps us to face up to the specific problems in China‘s urbanization process。

张文荣的项目通过对空间的延展和时间的延续构建,在作品与现场之间建立起一种密切而又复杂的关系。由文本记录、摄影、视频记录所构建的信息现场,引导每一位观众重新去思考媒体与社会、媒体与个人的多重关系。

Through establishing the extension of space and the continuation of time, Zhang Wenrong builds up a close and complex relationship between the work and the scene。 The information scene built up by text, photography and video challenges the media-based information transmission mode in contemporary society, and guides every audience to reconsider the multiple and complex relations between media and society, media and individuals。

正如展览题目“微光”,这些现场和案例只是重新构建各种社会群体关系、个体与社会空间关系等诸多关系的的一个初动力。在这些创作中,交流成为作品本身不可或缺的一个部分,构成这些项目的核心是互动形式。窄门之外,被打开的不是空间,而是重构、医治各种关系的可能性,最终将我们导向对人与社会、人与自然、人与各种可见和不可见的事物关系的和谐追求。

These scenes and cases are merely initial motive forces for multiple relationships reconstruction among various social groups, individuals and social space just like what Glimmering indicates。 In these works, communication becomes an indispensable part and interactive forms make up the core of the projects。 What waits outside the narrow door is not space but the possibility of reconstructing and healing relationships, which will ultimately leads us to the pursuit of harmony between human and society, human and nature, human and all kinds of visible and invisible things。
