展览介绍：

作为亚洲地区的国际雕塑艺术交流项目，由中国雕塑学会、韩国雕刻家协会联合主办的“中韩雕塑交流展”已在中韩两国连续成功举办了11届，有着成熟模式与丰厚积累，取得了良好的社会与学界影响力，是中韩雕塑界学术交流的重要纽带。

广州是中国现代雕塑发端的重镇，也是南中国雕塑教育的核心。2020年，广州美术学院雕塑与公共艺术学院承办第12届中韩雕塑交流展，将这一展览盛事的影响延伸至南中国，在粤港澳大湾区建设背景下，必将对增进与活跃亚洲雕塑艺术交流大有裨益。

“遐·览——第12届中韩雕塑交流展”这个主题，来自于展览特别的展示方式。受疫情影响，展览无法进行实物展示，参展艺术家也无法进行面对面的交流，因此我们决定此届展览采用网络展的方式举办，以保证中韩雕塑交流展的延续性不被中断。

“遐”是疫情下我们无法跨越的距离，“览”是指“网络浏览”的特殊观展方式，距离虽远但可以通过隔屏“读图”来达成“交流”的目的，这是非常时期的人们正在逐渐适应的一种互动模式，而雕塑转换成为一种跨维度动态空间中的“存在”，或许又是数字时代的必然。

As an international project on sculpture, "Sino-Korean Sculpture Exhibition" has been co-organized successfully by CSI and KSA in China and South Korea for 11 consecutive sessions. With its established pattern, rich achievement and significant social and academic influence, the exhibition has become an important communication channel for Chinese and Korean sculptors.

Guangzhou is central in the history of modern Chinese sculpture, and GAFA takes a leadership position in artistic education in South China. The 12th Sino-Korean Sculpture Exhibition, organized by GAFA, will expand the coverage to greater South China. In the context of developing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), it will be of great benefit to enhance and activate the interaction of Asian sculpture.

The theme 'Tele-View' stemmed from the special form of the exhibition. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, neither tangible display nor face-to-face communication is possible. Nonetheless, we decide to hold a virtual exhibition via internet to maintain continuity. "Tele" means distance; "View" refers to the special "reading" mode of this online sculpture exhibition. Despite of distance, we can communicate through screen, which is also an interactive mode that people in the shadow of the pandemic are gradually getting attuned to.
