宋鬼聿

1975年生于湖南，师出葛鹏仁教授当任的中央美术学院油画系第四工作室。曾在法国举办个人展，并在国内举办数次联展。

他的作品体现了审美现代性中常见的主题：焦虑、疏离、不安、恐惧和孤独。

主题 ：焦虑与祈祷

二十世纪的文学和艺术，在大半时间里都把情绪留给了焦虑。其中一个争议持久的命题是，人性的焦虑究竟来自何处？艺术家们用不同的方式、不同的手段来阐释自己的见解，他们处理不同的关系，重新界定、权衡、摆正自己的位置。

   宋鬼聿属于70后，但他的创作显然超离了某种以生物学代群来虚构的那些文化倾向，他的作品体现了审美现代性中常见的主题：焦虑、疏离、不安、恐惧和孤独，这种黑色主题紧紧抓住他、在日常中刺激他，使之从生命内部来担当艺术的光明责任，担当表现主义的精神诉求。

在他的油画中，最多的是一些没有面部特征的人，裸体的人，被纠缠在一起的人，它们印证了艺术家本人对于绘画问题的见解：亦即如何从个性的差异中找到共性，而这种共性的表达在本质上是属于存在话语的，属于命运的抗衡和苦难的认知。

鬼聿似乎越来越难以摆脱问题的幽灵纠缠，在其新创作的系列作品中，把自我困惑的关注点转向一些庞然大物上，我们退到远处看画时，能模糊地看见坦克、战斗机的威压扑面而来，这种主题的转移也表明了艺术家对于焦虑问题的新发展。他开始寻找一些新的根源：只能是处于世界的和谐关系中而非自我称义，人才有可靠的幸福指数。

我们相信他的作品在中国现代艺术领域独树一道风景。

◆Artist Introduction
 

Song Guiyu

Born in Hunan, 1975. He is the student of Professor Ge Pengren under Fourth Studio in Oil Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts.Solo exhibition in France, several group exhibitions in China.

His works present the common subjects in aesthetic modernity: anxiety, alienation, tension, fear and loneliness.

Topic: Anxiety And Prayer

Culture and Art leave motion to anxiety in literature and art in most time of the twentieth century. Where does the anxiety of human being come from？This is one of the most disputed topic. Artists use different measures to expose their own opinions, and they deal with different relations to remeasure, balance, set their own position

   Although Song Guiyu belongs to the generation after 1970s, his works obviously come out of the fictive cultural tendency represented by biological group, his works present the common subjects in aesthetic modernity: anxiety, alienation, tension, fear and loneliness.

Most of his oil paintings are about the persons without features in their faces, naked persons and people fouled together, proving artist’s own opinions on painting. How to find similarity from the difference of individuals, however, basically the expression of these similarities belong to existing languages and belong to the fight against fate and recognition of suffer.

Song Guiyu can not get rid of the spiritual problem, he transfers his concentration on anxiety to the huge things in his new pieces of works. When we appreciate his works far away, we can see vague tank and fighter plane coming towards us. Such transferred subject also shows the new development of anxiety by the artist. He starts to searching for a new root: people can have the index of reliable happiness only in the harmonious world.

We believe that he will have his own special style in art world today.
