展览介绍：艺术家Barbara Piatti，继2008年成功举办“快捷北京”个人画展，目前又来到中国，即将在北京想象画廊举办“快捷上海”个人画展。发光的颜色，与城市建筑景观和深厚的文化底蕴，“快捷上海”系列油画作品将引领我们去感觉Piatti的本能，情感和多元化的想象力。Barbara Piatti是一个出生于瑞士的职业画家（1964），毕业于苏黎世大学艺术史和绘画系。 1988年移居巴黎，Piatti与爱尔兰肖像画家Reginald Gray工作学习两年。自1999年以来，她常住在法国。作为一个旅行画家，她通过这些年在柏林，威尼斯，菲律宾，纽约和中国的艺术工作室的生活创作经历，得到许多的启发和灵感。Barbara Piatti曾在大多数欧洲的首都举办个人展览。她曾代表参展出席多个群展，如巴黎联合国教科文组织总部的群体艺术展，格拉鲁斯现代艺术博物馆，柏林当代艺术沙龙，新奥尔良当代艺术沙龙和日内瓦当代艺术沙龙等。

艺术家介绍：
1964年  出生于瑞士Laufen
在瑞士苏黎世大学艺术史和绘画专业就读。
移居巴黎。和爱尔兰画家 Reginald Gray 学习两年，在巴黎成为Visarte的会员，Visarte是瑞士视觉艺术家社圈。
 1997年 移居柏林两年，创造了布面油画和新生报纸与新城市的重建，波茨坦广场，聚焦于工业风景，印制画册“柏林—巴黎”。
        1999年  移居回到法国。居住在Loire 河附近的奥尔良，组织Malacots女子艺术团体，展开对工业空间、人类生存、宏伟的Loire 河的探索创作。印制画册“Au bord de la Loire ”。
        2003年 她得到了法国国籍。        2005年 移居纽约，Chelsea，4月至6月间，创作了布面油画和纸上作品——纽约
                      城市的生活。在7月返回法国，回到Malacots。
         2006年 前往菲律宾在Camiguin 的岛上。她 的兄弟-雕塑家Gabriel及家人生活在一起。
8月1日至11月1日，住居于北京想象画廊工作室并举办“快捷北京”个展。
5月17日至7月17日，住居于北京想象画廊工作室并举办“快捷上海”个展。
4月至6月住居于美国纽约Chelsea画廊参展“曼哈顿的灵魂”。

Exhibition Introduction:

After “Beijing Short Cuts” Exhibition held in 2008, Barbara Piatti is back at Imagine Gallery with “Shanghai Short Cuts” Solo Show.
Luminous in colors, stunning with architectural city views and cultural influences, “Shanghai Short Cuts” oil paintings series on canvas carry us away, feeling Piatti’s instinct, emotion and controlled multiform mind.

Barbara Piatti is a Swiss born professional artist (1964) who attended Dept. of History of Art and Painting at Zurich University. In 1988 Piatti moved to Paris and studied under the Irish Portrait Painter Reginald Gray. Since 1999 she lives in France.
Traveling painter, she has been inspirited through the years by her many art residencies in Berlin, Venice, The Philippines, New York and China.
Barbara Piatti has held Solo Exhibitions in most European capitals. She has been represented in Group Exhibits at UNESCO, Paris, Museum of Modern Art, Glarus and The Contemporary Art Salons in Berlin, Orleans and Geneva.

BARBARA   PIATTI
Born in Laufen, Switzerland.
Attended Department of History of Art and Painting at Zürich University,
                   Switzerland.
Settled in Paris .Studied there with the Irish painter Reginald Gray during two years.  Become member of Visarte, society of Swiss visual artists in Paris.
Moved on to Berlin for two years. Created oil paintings on canvases and papers on the revitalization and rebuilding of the new city, Potsdamer Platz, focusing on industrial landscapes. Print of the catalogue” Berlin- Paris”.
     Moved back to France. Settled near Orléans at the river Loire,  les Grands
             Malacots, exploring industrials places, human lives and the grandeur of the river
Loire. Print of the catalogue “Au bord de la Loire”.
She got the French nationality too.
2005     Moved to New York, Chelsea, April - June through. Created oil paintings on  
canvases and papers of New York City life.
In July went back to France, Malacots.
Travel to the Philippines, on Camiguin Island, where her brother Gabriel Piatti
Sculptor/Painter with his family lives.
