艺术家简历
1997年       毕业于广州美术学院
1999年       研修于清华大学美术学院
2000年       任清华大学美术学院客座讲师
2001年                         入选亚太华人杰出专业摄影师年鉴
2002年                         摄影出版《时装摄影》，由浙江摄影出版社出版
2003年                         成为英国皇家摄影师协会会员
2001－03年   连续荣获全国十佳时装摄影师称号
2006年       中国（国际）第一届时装周时装摄影大赛荣获银奖 
2007年       中国金榜时尚摄影师

作品长期发表于《中国摄影》、《中国摄影家》、《大众摄影》、《数码摄影》、《摄影之友》等专业摄影类杂志；并长期L’officiel，Bazaar，Cosmo，Esquire，MarieClaire，Elle...等众多一线时尚类杂志拍摄封面与主题创意大片；2008年由苏东创作拍摄的一组关于水立方的组片被国际奥委会及奥委会主席罗格先生私人收藏。

《我》前言
——张英剑
苏东的作品，图片中人身在不同的奥运项目，同时又表现出一种与现实的距离感，这种感觉从其不甚自然的身体姿态以及那异样的眼神中表露出来。作者将画中人的身体塑成一个瓷人，自由受到束缚，却又无法束缚那积聚深处的力量，现实与内心的矛盾和冲突，通过大众生活题材予以抒发。这是作者对于年轻一代生存状态的感触与揭露，又是对自我的一种深刻剖析。画面中不时出现的红色五角星，点亮了画面，佩带在一个有着厚重历史感的绿色军帽上，使得这种本来严肃的具有代表性的时代特征有影无形，成为一种艺术的符号和印记。
